Jordan’s Flight Utility capsule comes as Nike records massive growth in the brand’s women’s department.
Functional, rebellious and versatile – the debut Jordan women’s capsule exudes streetwear vibes.
Nike reported massive, triple-digit growth in their Jordan women’s segment, reflecting a surging demand for women’s apparel and sneakers. To that end, Jordan brand has released its very first women’s collection – the Flight Utility capsule.
The women’s collection does not veer too far from existing men’s collections, reflecting the same uncompromising celebration of the competitive spirit and fearless mindset that Jordan Brand is known for.
The end result is a capsule of wardrobe staples, like jackets, hoodies, cargo pants and oversized tees. The pieces are super practical, with functional pockets and proportions that remain comfortable while exuding a streetwear aesthetic. Practicality aside, the collection is trendy, with a very retro vibe and feminine touches – like elevated waists and the use of faux-fur.
A big draw of the collection is its versatility. Most of the pieces can be adapted for different styles and looks. Take the flight suit, which can be cinched at the waist, cropped at the legs or left in its original state. Jordan brand’s use of neutral tones like black and olive in this capsule makes it easy to mix and match the pieces.
The capsule is very inclusive as well, designed for various body types. Most pieces will be made available in Asian fit and plus sizes.
The collection will be officially released on February 14 at Jordan.com and Nike SNKRS. However, some select stores will have it on shelves as early as February 1. Grab the Jordan Flight Utility capsule early at these stores:
