If you’ve been social distancing from your vagina, there’s no time like the present to get to know this part of you more intimately.
Social impact period care company LUÜNA naturals will host experts in the fields of feminine health and sexual wellness throughout August for The Vagina Dialogues: a Digital Education and Empowerment Festival – and you’re invited!
Who can forget that awkward assembly in primary school when – in the absence of all the boys – we were given an all-too-brief primer about “becoming a woman”. For many, that’s the extent of the education they would receive about menstruation, period products and feminine health. This lack of knowledge can have serious implications for a woman’s wellbeing.
Despite it being 2020, discussing these topics openly is still taboo and carries a social stigma. The women behind the period care company LUÜNA naturals aim to bust these with The Vagina Dialogues, a month-long online festival to drive conversation and provide education about gynaecological care, wellness and empowerment.
Launching on August 2, The Vagina Dialogues will bring together specialists and advocates of feminine health and sexual wellness including Nicole Lim of Something Private Podcast for a series of panels, talks and workshops that will bust myths and taboos about our bodies. Each week’s content will revolve around a theme.

The first of its kind in Asia, this unique celebration of gender equality, health and social impact will be held entirely online, so you can join in and get empowered from the comfort of your home. And if the things you learn help you decide to switch to using LUÜNA natural’s toxin-free period products, you’ll be helping someone in need switch too. Every Luüna Period Cup sold and every S$46 spent will see one period cup and 100 pads, respectively, go to beneficiaries of the Karen Leung Foundation, a charity that tackles gynaecological cancers.
