Puma x Balmain collection fuses the German brand’s sports heritage with the French fashion house’s runway designs.
The collection was designed by Puma ambassador and model Cara Delevigne and Balman creative director Olivier Rousteing.
Puma and Balmain have done some serious magic with Cara Delevingne. Their latest boxing-inspired collection fuses Balmain’s design language with Puma’s rich sports heritage to create some stunning pieces. Why boxing? Well, the collection draws inspiration from the people who fight the good fight every day, supporting others and standing up for what they believe in.
The boxing inspiration comes through clearly in pieces like the Cell Stella Mid, which resembles shoes used in the ring, and the boxing shorts that’s embellished with bright pops of color and hints of gold. These items merge the world of sports and high fashion, to create a functional yet opulent collection. The two-part collection will comprise bra tops, boxing shorts, jackets, tees, and shoes bearing Balmain and Puma branding, with a vibe that would make you look at home whether in the ring and on a runway.
The collection does come at a relatively high price point, starting at S$79 for a pair of high socks and S$179 for a bra top. But the haute couture-inspired designs and Puma’s reputation for comfortable, functional sportswear will make the pieces of this collection an amazing addition to any wardrobe.
The collection will be available in Singapore on November 21 at Puma Select (The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands) and online at www.puma.com, and exclusively at Limited Edt Chambers.
